Friday 24th October
Rhebo Hall, 2 Crispe St, Ciccone NT
Wood is the time of Spring, where the seeds of our dreaming are birthed into creation. It’s where we cut away what is not directly aligned with our purpose, contribution and actions.
The vitality of this energy has a springiness to it. A buoyancy. The energy of the wood rises upwards, reaching to bask in the sun or drink in the moonlight. If there is too much physical action, or lots of thinking with no action, instead of circulating the energy rises and gets stuck.
You know sometimes when your mind gets stuck, you hold a grudge or judge too much; tension ends up getting stuck in your shoulders and hips.
What to expect in this 2hr workshop:
- Solo movement-based therapy pinpointing awareness to the wood meridians, liver and gall bladder
- Partner Yoga to understand energy lines and bodyweight transfer
– Learn a 20min Zenthai Shiatsu bodywork sequence for releasing tension in the hips
- Tune into our interconnectedness with natures healing rhythm.
- Therapeutic insights so you can support yourself and other to stay in body and mind.
Come in comfortable clothing, shirts and long pants encouraged. There is no prior knowledge needed, just a curious mind and an open heart. Partner welcome, yet not required.
